Mai Lee, a first generation American was introduced to music during her childhood by her parents and siblings. She received an early music education by attending a performing arts school right here in St. Louis.
Growing up, she experienced trouble fitting in. While other kids were out at the mall, she was working inside her family’s restaurant - Mai Lee, which was the first Vietnamese restaurant in St. Louis. There, she learned the fundamentals of hard-work and realized that she could do anything she put her mind too.
